This year Helen and I were the Major Exchange Managers for Exchange 6. The exchange was located at the College of Marin, in Kentfield, in Marin County. We arrived there at 5 a.m. on Friday and then finally left about 7 p.m. that night. Everything went well and we had plenty of volunteers to staff our exchange but it was a long day.
The day before, on Thursday, we helped to set up at the start line at the Marina on San Francisco Bay.
Our volunteers consisted of about 30 members of the College of Marin Baseball team. They were great workers and a lot of fun to be with.
Here we are setting up at about 7 a.m. We received a lot of support from the staff of the college.
