Morro Bay for the Weekend

We decided that we hadn't been up to Morro Bay in a long time so we took a trip up the Central Coast.  Our first stop was a trip to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, a favorite of all the kids.
The kids loved looking in the tanks at the lobsters.
At the seahorse exhibit, we all stood by the giant seahorse.
Then it was off to Dennis the Menace Park in Monterey, one of the best playgrounds ever.
Even the big kids like going down the roller slide.
Then it was a race to the bottom of the twin slides.
We made it back in time to SLO to meet the cousins for yogurt at Bali's.
Our iconic picture at the tree with a new generation of grandparents.
We walked down to crab beach for some crabbing, and the kids played along the way.
Then James introduced us to geocaching. . .the kids enjoyed looking for the hidden treasures.
Dinner at F. McLintocks is always a favorite. . .and pouring water into a glass on your head was a new experience for Ethan.
 Here we are enjoying dinner.
Outside of the restaurant are some toys that the kids like to play around on.
Ethan and Gavin liked riding the horse together.
Then it was off to another park in Shell Beach, near the ocean.
We also went up the coast to San Simeon to see the elephant seals and do some tide-pooling too.
Dinner and sunset out on the balcony of the house is a good way to end the day.
On the way home, we found some more geocache locations. . .this one was hidden very cleverly.
